Kira is a new rental community in East Vancouver's Victoria-Fraserview neighbourhood, bringing 141 pet-friendly homes to East 41st Avenue, from studios through to three-storey family town homes. PC Urban needed to introduce the scheme to the market and build interest with prospective renters before construction had begun. We were commissioned to produce the hero visuals. Working from the design, we modelled both buildings in detail and set them in warm, clear light. The dark vertical cladding, lighter panels and timber-toned balconies each read as designed, and the rooftop terrace comes through. A street-level elevation presents the two buildings as a pair on East 41st Avenue, giving the scheme a strong first impression. An elevated aerial shows how they sit among mature trees and the surrounding neighbourhood, with the rooftop terrace visible above. At the heart of the scheme, a dusk courtyard view lit by festoon lights and full of residents shows a shared space where the community comes together. Because renters can't walk the site, every image had to earn their trust. We paid close attention to materials, landscaping and scale, so what people saw online was a faithful picture of what would be built. The result is a suite of images that led PC Urban's pre-leasing marketing and gave the scheme a consistent visual identity from its first day on the market.
